Losing your season ~ Pizuya’s Cell

For once in a while, I won’t say too many things.

Merami is, as usuall, amazing. I love her collaboration with Pizuya’s Cell on Violet Lotus Requiem, and I love her collaboration with with Pizuya’s Cell on Merciless Lazuli Rose.

Kafka translated this already -probably while I was sleeping; I should’ve posted this translation yesterday, but well, I needed to revise the lyrics, and since I’ve finished this one…here it is. Comparing the translations, they’re somehow different.

My translation surely sounds a little stiff; I think it’s because I really wanted to keep the japanese structure (which was really, really hard). But well, this song is just too beautiful to not keep the japanese structure in the translation, even if it’s not the best translation.

– “サラリサラリ溶けた 白い桜 | Without hesitation, without hesitation, it dissolved. A white cherry blossom”; first of all, I love japanese dictionaries. The meaning is more like “Since there’s no more light, the white disappeared”. It’s basically when you can’t see (in this case) the colors because of the absence of light. I know I can’t explain things clearly, but I hope you get the sense.
– “君の住む世界はここには無いの? | The world where you live in, doesn’t exist?”; at the beginning I wanted to destroy the whole structure/meaning and re-write it as “Will the world where you live in disappear?”. But due the last sentence, I decided not to do. Just to say, this is an useless note :’D

Losing your season ~ Pizuya’s Cell

暗い淵に堕ちて 砕ける華 闇夜が
サラリサラリ溶けた 白い桜

kurai fuchi ni ochite kudakeru hana yamiyo ga
sarari sarari toketa shiroi sakura

Falls down into the darkest abyss. A broken cherry blossom. It’s a dark night.
Without hesitation, without hesitation, it dissolved. A white cherry blossom.

この世界はどこへ向かうの?
君の住む世界はここには無いの?

kono sekai wa doko e mukau no?
kimi no sumu sekai wa koko ni wa nai no?

Where will this world go towards?
This world where you live in, doesn’t exist?

赤く染まる雪は 暖かくて 凍える
鏡の中に映る 夢のカケラ

akaku somaru yuki wa atatakakute kodoeru
kagami no naka ni utsuru yume no kakera

The snow dyed in red. Its warmth. Is frozen.
It’s reflected, in the mirror. A fragment of dream.

この光はどこから来たの?
君の観る光はここには無いの?
この時代はどこへ向かうの?
君の居る時代はここには無いの?

kono hikari wa doko kara kita no?
kimi no miru hikari wa koko ni wa nai no?
kono jidai wa doko e mukau no?
kimi no iru jidai wa koko ni wa nai no?

Where did this light come from?
This light which you see, doesn’t exist?
Where will this era go towards?
This era where you live in, doesn’t exist?

この世界はどこへ向かうの?
君の住む世界はここには無いの?
その世界は君に会えるの?
いつも夢見てる 君に会える日を

kono sekai wa doko e mukau no?
kimi no sumu sekai wa koko ni wa nai no?
sono sekai wa kimi ni aeru no?
itsumo yumemiteru kimi ni aeru hi wo

Where will this world go towards?
This world where you live in, doesn’t exist?
Will I be able to meet you in that world?
I always dream, to be able to meet you, one day.
