Ready to take off ~ UNDEAD CORPORATION
What in my opinion is a strenght point of UNDEAD CORPORATION, is that they almost always arrange themes leaving just a trace of them inside, and for the rest the track is essentially original. And I love when this happens; re-arranging Touhou themes is just great, if that’s done well, you have a Touhou theme without being a Touhou theme.
It’s kinda like what warinside does for his arrangements, where there are parts so close to the Touhou theme, and others that are just original. Even if with UNDEAD CORPORATION’s different; it’s like the arranged theme is hidden inside the notes. For recognizing the arranged theme in songs by this circle, it usually takes me a lot of listening; and for some songs, it still take me a lot of time before realizing which theme is it. I believe I haven’t explained well myself, but still, I actual write whatever passes in my mind, so I guess it’s fine even if it’s not that clear x3
