GET IN THE RING

Couldn’t found a good picture with Yuugi and Suika, sorry “”

GET IN THE RING is a really great circle, I love how they usually arrange a lot of themes into one song, I really like the medley vibes it gives to me –I like their idea of following a specific pattern when choosing the songs, like the Moriya’s based one. And I personally loved Arcadia. Maybe because they merged themes (completely) unrelated (Strawberry Crisis!! with Cosmic Mind), but I totally fell in love with that one.

Back to the song; a very calm and peaceful one, and its melody gave me this “ending theme” feeling, and “happy ending” one. I have no idea why, but I often like so much this kind of arrangements they’re so relaxing.

A little curiosity: so far all the GET IN THE RING CDs’ titles begins with the letter “A”.

Notes

華散里”; in romaji “hana chi sato”, “The country of scattered flowers”. A title that fits lyrics, and as for me, is pretty fascinating. No particular notes on this one, plain titles are always nice~
朝ぼらけを泳ぐ | Reaching the light of dawn”; in the sense of “I’m sleeping, time passes, and the dawn arrives”. Couldn’t really found a good verb to expressing this meaning while keeping the Japanese structure.
If I can have fun for one night”; literally, “If the fun’s limit is one night”. Pretty much awful in English, at least for me, thus my choice to work a bit on its meaning/structure.

surechigau kage ni te wo furi kasaneru
asai madoromi odayaka ni asaborake wo oyogu

Passing by in a shadow, holding your hand
Lightly sleeping in the calm, reaching the light of dawn

hibari no saezuri soyogu jinchouge
tokoshie tsugeru shizukesa mo usubeni iro ni chiru

The skylark’s chirp stirs through winter daphnes
Even an eternal calm I’m aware of will disappear into the light crimson

shinonome no komorebi  ni yureru
yawaraka na sawarabi no honoka ni amaku

The dawn’s sunlight passing through trees shakes
Through the indistinct, soft, freshly budded bracken, sweetly

marebito yo haru no ibuki ni idakare deaeta shukuen wo inorimashou
tomo no sakazuki kawase nagara harara sakura ha mau
saa koko ga tokoyo no katasumi nara kokoro ni hito hana sakasemashou
ukabu hakuchuu no oborodzuki biroku ga nodo wo sasu

Embraced by the visitors and spring’s breath, I pray to meet my future
While exchanging a sake cup for friends, the cherry blossoms’ leaves scatter, and dance
That’s right; if this is my eternalness corner, let’s make this flower bloom in my heart
Under a floating midday’s hazy moon, the beauty shines in that singing voice

asu wo tsunagu michi taenu hito no mure
tomaru mo yuku mo kaze makase chigireta kumo ni kiku

The path is tied to tomorrow, people won’t be stopped
Already ceased, already gone, the wind will keep singing in the clouds torn to pieces

kasumi kakaru miyama ga hakobu
sozoro nagaru momo no ka minamo ni afure

The mountain recess carries a haze
Restless, the peaches’ scent keeps arriving, overflowing the air

marebito yo haru no shira wo kanade tomo ni shiawase wo utaimashou
miyo no sakazuki  asobase nagara tamayura wo tadayou
saa itoyo kagiri no tawamurenara tsumaranu urei wa nomi hoshimashou
matsuri hayashi no ne hateru madekarasawagi wa tsudzuku

I sing the visitors and spring’s song, let’s sing, everyone, with happiness
While enjoying a sake cup for the reign, another fleeting moment passes by
That’s right; if I can have fun for one night, let’s confine this dull sorrow and drink
Until the festival’s orchestra’s sound won’t end; I will keep doing nothing

shiki wa meguri sugite mo nagaku
utsurou koto mo shirazu kawaranu keshiki

I’ve passed through the four seasons many times
I don’t know if I’ve changed, but the scenery is still the same

yume no ato tooi hi no kensou ni hisoka ni mata te wo nobashite wa
kyou mo sakazaki katamuke nagara mukashigatari tsumugu
saa koko ga ukiyo no karisome nara karenai hito hana sakasemashou
tsudou hito no koe tsukiru made samenai gensei ni you

In the tumult of the dream I had that distant day, again, in secret, I stretch my hand
Today too, while sharing a sake cup, I speak about an old story
That’s right; if here my fleeting, transient life won’t wither, let’s make this flower bloom
Until the voice of the people I’ve met won’t disappear, I will get drunk in a world that won’t wake up
