Syrufit

I love how this song’s structured. It gave me the feeling of floating in the sky.

So far, I’ve enjoyed a lot reading lyrics written and sang by Mei Ayakura, and this one is no exception; SHIKI made a great work.

Aside this, I’ve been wondering if Mei loves this stage’s theme.
I’ve listening to (and have) just a few songs by Mei Ayakura, and so far, this is the third “The Capital City of Flowers in the Sky” arrangement I see with her as vocalist –this is not a complaint. But I need to investigate.

Anyway, it’s spriii- no wait. Here’s autumn. Damn.

Notes

Considering the lyrics’ style and the basically absence of a grammatical structure, in some of the phrases is impossible to understand which part goes with which one; it’s just like having words thrown in that can be merged with what there’s before or after without losing meaning. This ends into stanzas with multiple meanings, meanings that I’ve tried to kept, but probably wasn’t able to do so. I’m sorry-

Sky’s Catharsis”; considering what’s the original song, I personally like how the title recalls it. Aside this, nothing else to say
沈む | Sink, the visions”; literally, “The sank field of visions I’m grasping”. I wanted to keep this “floating”, undefined atmosphere built by how lyrics are written, thus my choice of changing some terms.

ochiru rasen egaku
shizumu shikai misadamete
tsukami kaketa hana wa
kieta sora no mangekyou

Falls, the spiral I draw
Sink, the visions I grasp
The flower I seized
Disappeared in the sky’s kaleidoscope

kaerenu watashi no kokoro kaze matoeba ima
sakihokore shiroku hana hiraite

My heart won’t come back, but if enshrouded by wind, soon
It will open up as a white flower in full bloom

tooku hanaretete mo
todoku kono haru no uta wo
itsuka subete no omoi kuchite mo
torimodosu
ano hana watashi no sora wo

Even far away
This spring’s song arrived
Someday even all the feelings will be forgotten
I will  take back
That flower, my sky

wareta sora wa kuzure
mieru ano hi shinkirou
areta tsubasa yasum
kokoro mayoi me wo tojiru

Broken, the sky collapses
I look at that day’s mirage
Broken, the wings I’m resting
In my heart, hesitation; I close my eyes

itetsuku watashi no karada kagi wo kakeru yoru
furihodoke hitomi ima hiraite

My frozen body, locked in the night
I shake my eyes, now opened

itsuka mezameru toki
kieta kimi wo mitsuketara
tatoe kono se no tsubasa nakushite mo
sakaseyou
shiroi yume yuki no you ni

Sooner or later, I’ll wake up
When I’ll realize that you’ve disappeared
Even if I’ve already lost the wings on this back
Just bloom,
My white dream, like snow

yuganda tsukikage juunketsu no tsubasa chirasete
maiagere itami sora tokashite

The moonlight’s distortion, these feathers’ purity I scatter
Soars in the pain and in the sky, melts

tooku hanaretete mo
todoku kono haru no uta wo
itsuka subete no omoi kuchite mo
torimodosu
ano hana kesenai

Even far away
This spring’s song arrived
Someday even all the feelings will be forgotten
I will  take back
That flower which can’t disappear

itsuka mezameru toki
kieta kimi wo mitsuketara
tatoe kono se no tsubasa nakushite mo
koko ni aru meguru haru

Sooner or later, I’ll wake up
When I’ll realize that you’ve disappeared
Even if I’ve already lost the wings on this back
Here spring will come again

Now I believe it
